Q: I get phone calls everyday from agencies. Why should I work with
Servane Cross?
A: We know as an HR professional or Hiring Manager, that you get an
immense amount of phone calls everyday from recruiters. Servane Cross isn't
your typical "agency". First of all, we believe in not wasting your valuable time.
If we feel for any reason that we either can't or shouldn't take on a search, we
will say so upfront. Secondly, we operate as a management consultancy to
our clients...we just happen to place people as a search firm too. That means
that although you are paying for the placement, you also get our research,
industry best practices, Triple-Tiered Screening Process and of course our
advice at no extra cost. We are about offering quality responsive
service, excellent candidates, and competitive rates. We would like an
opportunity to prove this to you and bring value to your recruiting process.
Q: So how much do you charge? (and what about any hidden fees?)
A: We don't believe in hidden fees. Period. We negotiate a fair fee
agreement that mutually satisfies both parties and add value by offering our
additional services free of charge.
On executive searches (VP-level and higher) we require a retainer
and/or a non-refundable initial search fee.
Q: I don't want to work with a lot of account managers from your
company. Can I have just one point of contact?
A: That's the only way we work. You get one person dedicated to your
account who will be your point person but keep in mind that there are several
recruiters dedicated to your open positions, working and supporting your
account manager. In other words, we work as a team but your point of contact
is your one and only account manager for a more personal touch.
Q: Tell me about Servane Cross' One Year Guarantee?
A: We stand by our placements unconditionally. If any Servane Cross
placement leaves their position within 90 days for any reason (with the
exception of downsizing/reorganization/layoff/acts of God, etc., we will
replace that person for free or refund the amount. In addition, we also
guarantee all candidates for one (1) year should they leave on their own
accord anytime in that year. At the end of the day, our clients are our main
priority and we want their needs to be served.
